Získala magisterský titul v oboru průmyslového designu na Pratt Institute a je také držitelkou titulu v oboru průmyslového designu. Má i finanční a ekonomické vzdělání. Inspirovala se svými osobními cestami, ruční výrobou a elegantní jednoduchostí, kterou nachází ve skandinávském a japonském designu.
